ParentPulse

Delete your ParentPulse account

You can delete your ParentPulse account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways, depending on whether you can still sign in.

If you can still sign in

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately. In the app, open Settings > Danger Zone > Delete My Account. You will be asked for your parent PIN and to type DELETE to confirm.

If you cannot sign in, or no longer have the app

Email us and we will handle it for you. You do not need to reinstall ParentPulse.

Request account deletion

Or write to [email protected] from the email address on the account. We may need to confirm it is really you before we can delete anything.

What happens when you delete

  • You are signed out everywhere and the account is closed straight away. It cannot be used again.
  • Any active subscription is cancelled at the same time. Where a paid period is partly unused, we refund the unused portion to the original card. Free trials and periods that have already finished are not refundable.
  • Your data is then permanently erased after 30 days by an automated job. It is not kept indefinitely and it is not simply switched off.
  • If another parent or guardian is an admin on your family, only your own account is removed. The family, the children and their history stay with the remaining admin. If you are the only admin, the whole family is scheduled for deletion with you.

Deleting a child’s profile

A parent can remove an individual child from Settings without closing the account. That one is immediate and cannot be undone: it deletes the child’s profile, their history, and their sign-in.

What we keep, and why

  • Encrypted backups roll off on their own schedule and can hold a copy for up to 90 days after erasure. They are not readable in day-to-day operation and are never used to restore a deleted account.
  • Our payment processor keeps its own record of past payments, because financial records have to be retained by law. We do not store full card details at any point.
  • A small number of records are kept with the identifying details stripped out, so we can prevent abuse of one-time offers.

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how long we keep it in full.
